Projects: Before & After
BEFORE: messy and little used garage
Before the work is started, the 100 year old garage is a mix of old and new wood angles that is not inviting for anything other than a car.

BEFORE: Don't look too close at this old house
This kitchen had all the wrong angles, with over 5 inch drop from each side of the room and outdated cabinets, and is need of a renovation.

STAGE TWO: New electrical and walls
Preparing your best kitchen takes a new floor plan with fixing old walls and adding new electrical circuits and plumbing.

AFTER: A three season visitor space
The remodel included adding a central wall between the garage bays, an exterior door to the back yard, and a utility closet. It provides the home with visitor space that is accessible and inviting as well as more user friendly.

STAGE 1: Leveling the floor
Leveling the floor and getting all new electrical and plumbing updates will allow us to create a beautiful new kitchen where you to hang out.

STAGE THREE: New Cabinets and Countertop
The kitchen takes shape with cabinets, countertops, and new appliances, plus a fresh new tiled backsplash.

BEFORE: No access to the backyard?
It had been 10 years of walking around the house to get to the garden. First cut the hole!

BEFORE: Guest bathroom looks as old as it is
When did you last visit your guest bathroom? Does it look like this - straight out of the 80s?

BEFORE: Skylight leak and causing water damage?
Water damage is a serious health risk besides the short and long-term issues to your home.

AFTER: Add a new doorway
Adding a new exterior door allows you to easily walk out and collect fresh blueberries for every breakfast.

AFTER: Looking smart and updated
In just a couple hours, your bathroom can have an all new look for your guests. We used the same cabinet but added new counter/sink, faucet, and handles along with new paint.

AFTER: Ready for an all new look
Next is choosing the new paint color and adding a ceiling fan.

Is your deck no longer safe for use?

BEFORE: Dog damage?
We love our furry friends, but their claws can inflict severe damage to our homes.

BEFORE: Roofing damage
No flashing at the window trim left the rain dripping in all the wrong places.

AFTER: A deck with open views of the garden
Then make the decision and get the repairs necessary so you can keep enjoying this important outdoor space.

AFTER: It can look like new again...
Don't keep living with their worst moments imprinted on your front door.

AFTER: New flashing and new trim
The owner's hunch that something was wrong saved them a much bigger problem if this wasn't caught and fixed.

BEFORE: Roof damage 2
Leaks can damage the entire wall below and fill the home with unhealthy mold and invite ants.

BEFORE: Roof damage 3
Even little cracks can let is a lot of water when the wind and rain hits that side of the building.

BEFORE: Wanting a better view
Feeling too tight inside your living room?

AFTER: A fresh start
Fix the problems before they become too big!

AFTER: Flashing protects from water and wind
Flashing and fresh tar to seal up the seams properly sheds the water down the roof.

AFTER: Adding a picture window is the answer
Open things up for more light and a view of your bird feeders and beyond...

More Projects from start to finish

Old outdated tile with cracked grout speaks to potentially inadequate subfloor and possible water damage.

Removing the tile uncovered improper installation where the tile and mortar were not cured together which left too much motion in the tile and cracked the grout lines.

Installing a waterproof membrane with the correct mortar makes for a lasting floor and piece of mind from water damage or mold from splashing water over the edge or around the shower curtain.

The finished bathroom with a new vanity and faucet, and new tile sealed and waterproof with a subfloor membrane for lasting protection. You want to see the home you want, but you also want to know the unseen elements of your renovation keep your home safe for years to come.
